Message from the President

For some, it was the way the ground rumbled underneath as the Sonic Boom of the South executed choreography and musicianship with high knee lifts, pointed toes, mastered drills, and no shortage of style. For others, it was the excitement that came with seeing “The Divine Nine” stroll the yard with pride. For me, it was the commitment of the professors to instill all they had into bright and eager minds. For all of us, it is the joy of lifelong relationships cultivated on the hallowed grounds of Jackson State University (JSU), that forever link us together in singing “Thee I Love” to the college of our hearts.

On this site, you may join or renew your Jackson State University National Alumni Association, Inc. (JSUNAA) membership, see the national board members, review the JSUNAA Constitution and Bylaws, chapter locations, chapter presidents with contact information, upcoming events, and much more. If there is no local chapter in your area, you may join as an alumnus at the national level (an alumnus is anyone who has completed a minimum of 6 credit hours at JSU). If you never attended JSU, you may support the mission, vision, and students, as an associate member of JSUNAA.

Whoever you are, wherever you are, whatever you do, there’s a place for you at JSUNAA. Your time, talent, and treasure is critical for the Association’s initiatives, and to assist students in graduating with the degree that will prepare them for a bright future. I’m counting on you as we dream and transform. You may contact me to explore the areas available to serve at the local and national level.

Please enjoy the many features of the JSUNAA website, as you reconnect with your dear ole college home.

Serving with you as we “Challenge Minds and Change Lives,”
